Resolution:

Image Scale

Ideally 100%.
It is also suggested that the transparency scanning scale is no larger than 200% to avoid losing details and sharpness of the image.

Screen Values

Minimum: 3%. If the tint is quite clear colour or white, the smallest dot has to be 0% to avoid dirt.
Maximum: 100%

Text Size

Minimum: 6 pt (point)
Texts/fonts have to be converted to outlines
Normal texts have to be made from only one separation
The separations around title texts and negative texts should be under 2
If the separations around negative texts are over 2, such as in the example of negative texts in a dark image, outlines with 0.3 mm in the most appropriate dark separation (the darkest one) have to be required around negative texts.

Barcode

Barcode numbers can be converted into standard barcodes.
Minimum scale of barcode: 85%, Best scale: 100%
The colour of the barcode has to be the darkest single separation, while the background colour has to be white or a light colour
Bars have to be parallel with the rewinding direction.
Barcodes must meet international size requirements

Eyemark

The eyemark must be made of darkest colour 100% tint, for example: 100% of black and white underneath with 0.5 mm trapping.
The interval between two eyemarks in the rewinding direction has to be a single color or transparent.
If using a dark background, the eyemark must be white.

If special effects are designed, the construction layers must appear on the file.

Sample Colour Proof

If special colours are used, Pantone numbers must be specified and/or sample bag has to be attached
